Medium-term Upgrades

I'm planning for the future with my Mini, and once I have my enclosure built i'll be trying PC/ABS+/ASA etc and am worried that all of the PETG parts on my printer will need replacing with ABS+ parts. My mini has injection moulded parts too, will these need replacing too or are they fine for high temperature enclosures?

When I replace the extruder, should I just print the original Mini extruder in eg ABS+ or do I switch to a dual geared option like Bondtech vs Trianglelabs vs Fysetc?

I don’t see why you would possibly replace the extruder or the injection molded parts. None are anywhere close to where the temperature is going to be high. I’ve printed  ABS on the mini, no problems. I’ve printed PC only on the Mk3S and had no problems with the PETG parts of the hotend. I see no reason why the Mini would be different.

I was asking about the injection moulded bits as I have no idea how they behave at higher temps for long periods. As the extruder is PETG, being inside an enclosure printing hot materials for long periods of time i'd heard that it could deform significantly. If that's not the case then that's great.

All my printers are in enclosures and even after many hours printing ABS the temperature never exceeded 38 degrees.

Perhaps a thermostat which opens https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3563742 to let the air circulate if above a set c*
