E3D V6 Hotend

Hi all,

So, I have seen a few folks have added E3D V6 hot ends to their Mini’s.  I saw this guys setup and thought it looked interesting.   Anyone on forums done it?

I picked up the hot end on eBay.  Not expensive.  Like $10.

i bought the clone to tinker with, so this looks like a fun mod.

Yes.  I have one V6 and one Dragon on two of my minis.

Firmware

Did you have to change anything after install?  Firmware, PID tuning, etc?

I adjusted the flow rate and with some filaments, the temps are slightly different.
