* Disclaimer: I don't have an MMU, nor do I have any experience using someone elses MMU. I just watch and listen to others because I might want an MMU in the future.

My impression is the size of the wipe/waste tower is dependent on how much the slicer thinks it needs to purge the previous filament when switching to the next filament. I've heard that there is a setting in PrusaSlicer to purge to infill so the purged plastic is actually used for something other than filling up waste/recycle bins. Try finding that setting to see if it helps. (I would assume that parts with less infill would benefit less from this setting, so as always YMMV.)

RE: wipe tower

@dave-avery

Is there a way to determine/calculate the volume to be purged?

I have just test print my 1st two colour test cube in Cura with a 30mm wipe tower. It wasted a lot of filament. If there was some calculation to know, it would be nice.

Thanks.
