It's Cool, you did nothing wrong and I'm sorry if I made you feel if you did.

I used to upload from Prusaslicer to Octoprint in Windows 10 without any issue. Now on windows 11 prusaslicer says it uploads but nothing happens on the printer. Is there an open port needed? Am I missing anything? All other very happy with Windows 11 running smoothly

Three years ago I went the same way as @jsw, in my case it was Linux Mint. There where some adjustments, but I was surprised, how easy it was to find replacement applications on the Linux platform.
I still have some few needed Windows-Only applications and they now reside on a virtual Windows machine, that is only powered on when needed.

I use a minimal Windows 10 to control my CNC machines as this is the easiest/only workable solution.

Have been a Windows application programmer for 35+ years and a long time fan, but got tired of constant unscheduled updates, automatic installation of unwanted apps and too much phone home reporting to MS.

Have a look at my designs on Thingiverse or on PrusaPrinters ;)...

I see now, Prusaslicer uploads the file to the printer but it is not automatically started, It gets in queue and needs to be started manually

On the popup "send code to host", do you have "start printing after upload" selected?
