Suggestion - Adjusting First Layer Z setting in Filament Settings

Based on what I've been reading, https://rigid.ink/blogs/news/175700615-petg-filament-heres-what-you-need-to-know , you can get better results with PETG if you have the Z-axis set slightly higher, .05 - .2mm, for the first layer.

I'm lazy. I'd prefer not to have to remember and make that adjustment each time I change between different filaments. It would be really cool if that could be done in a filament profile.

Thanks. 🙂

Z offset can be set in the printer profile, but that would not be depended on the selected filament. If it has to be in the filament profile the only option now is to insert custom g-code to do the extra lift on the first layer - but it is possible to do it that way.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉
