Settings for dual extrusion printing

Hi and thank you for your help & wisdom.

I am very new to PrusaSlicer and I start with a dual colour, 2-in-1-out system.

Is there anyone here willing to share their basic settings for this with a newbie? I tried Cura 4.8 but it is just stringing all over the bed. I understand that there is not a "default" setup for this but it will help me to start and then finetune & tweak it from there.

Or you can please help me with a link to a tutorial for this or a pace to download the settings from.

Thank you very much.

what setting you need ? there is many setting.... did you create the prime tower ? Cura is bad for 2-1 extruder.... they have  a "feature" di create a very bad prime tower .... they say is a feature but really is a bad bug and more or less unusable for 2-1 estruder.

Hi. This is how my print came out with Cura 4.8 Needless to say this is terrible.

Cura uses g-code settings in each extruder; Extruder Start G-code & Extruder End-Code. Does Prusa also use this or do I have to add these into the settings of Prusa?

Thanks.

Prusa use a screen in Print-Setting -> multiple extruder to setup some thing (for example prime tower)  and a more detailed and for-material screen in Filament settings -> advanced (wipe tower and toolchange parameter).

The default need to check because every filament is different... for example same filament black and white, you need to prime more more white then black.

@marcottt

Thanks for your reply. I managed to setup of the second extruder with the same settings as the other. So I have T0 & T1. But, that is where I am now.

I don't have a clue where to start in setting up the tool-swop and so on.

I will really appreciate some help.

Thanks.
