Scaling or Sizing prints by a numerical value

Hello, i just made a nice Xenomorph print from an all in one STL file. Image below. Now i have the individual STL files for 7 separate parts and want to scale them all up to a similar size to make one crazy big Alien Queen. But i cannot seem to find a way to do it in Prusaslicer. I can see fit to print volume but that means they are all unequally scaled if i make each an individual print. I can see the XYZ boxes with numerals when i click the scale option in the left toolbar but the values only seem to be controlled by moving my mouse and i cannot get accurate numbers. I've only had the printer a few months and its great but this simple task has me stumped. Help apppreciated.

PS: MK3S+ with MMU2s. All firmware & software up to date.

Hi 3DPO,

welcome to the group.
there is a manual scaling option in the bottom right hand corner of the Prusa Slicer Page

Peter Powell 2 liner stunt kites are awesome btw. I grew up with a sweet 5 footer. Best stunt was on a windy night to make a long tail, tie in folded newspapers, light them up and let her up and away. It was breathtaking.

RE: Scaling or Sizing prints by a numerical value

I use PrusaSlicer on Ubuntu as well and I've done things such as this.

PrusaSlicer is not only good for slicing to print, it's good for cutting apart larger objects into printable pieces and scaling, if needed, by a consistent factor.

The 'cut' function in PS will work on objects that are much larger than the maximum build volume.  You can rotate an object by 90 degrees if you need to slice it horizontally.  Just slice, keeping only one part, and re-export that part to a .stl file.

I've also at times re-imported some of the cut-up pieces back into FreeCAD, converted the mesh back to solid, and edited some more.

@jsw

Thanks jsw,,

for slicing and code i'm inexperienced. I have a F360 account running and i have printed some very basic makes. Servo & battery holders so far. But i keep reading here and learning from everyone who takes time to post instruction. Thanks for commenting, i will try out your points in future prints. Have a great day.
