PrusaSlicer with SL1: "SLA supports outside the print area were detected"

Top-down slicer viewAny idea why this happens? Is the default SL1 configuration not accurate? I end up having to move the items around until it finally passes, which is not an equal distance from all sides. There's no indicator (as far as I can tell) as to which supports are outside the print area.

Using PrusaSlicer-2.0.0 on Windows 64 bit

Hi Pete,

That issue seems to have been resolved in Prusa Slicer 2.1.0 Alpha1

Could it be that the supports in the middle were overlapping?

Obviously not a good description, but I have had similar issues!

That may be the case. I would think that overlapping supports would be fine. Maybe there's some reason not to allow that?

Hi Pete,

I would think so, too, but we dont know what logic is in slicer, and it may be defective logic.
which slicer are you using?

Ha, thanks 🙂 I'll have to keep my eye out for overlapping supports, then.

it's an Alpha release, so report any bugs please and beware you might get unexpected errors...    always a risk with Alpha software.
