Prusaslicer Profile for the Troodon 400x400x500

I am trying to create a profile to add the Troodon to my Prusaslicer. I had to purchase Simplify 3D because I could not get it to work. I am not impressed with S3D at all. If anyone has a profile for the Troodon that they could share I would greatly appreciate it.

Don't own any such beast, but if you create a gcode file using S3D that prints well, open it in a text editor and you might find many of the printer hardware settings in the startup gcode. In particular, look for M20x lines that can be copied over to the appropriate settings in PrusaSlicer.

Testing that now. I was able to copy start and end g codes.

It prints!!!!... but I keep getting an error on the console: Warning: M73 command is not supported. It doesn't affect print quality it's just a bit annoying but I can live with that!

It prints amazingly well. .2 layer height on both prints.

Is there a way to disable the M73 command?

There is a print time prediction feature that you can disable in PrusaSlicer under Printer Settings . Is that what you're after?

I disabled that earlier thinking it would get rid of that error but unfortunately it did not.

I am after the same thing. Preferably for the 400. I have been using the Cura slicer and also not happy with the results. FYI, I understand that one exists and have requested a link on the fb group for Vivedino printers.

I don't yet have a working profile for the Troodon. I haven't even switched it on for about 6 months as I have been working with our robotics team to develop and print a number of parts for our current robot (on my Prusa). When our competitions are over, we can put some time into developing a profile (but we do have to do a couple of upgrades first).

Troodon profile for PrusaSlicer

Derek, P.D., Chris C, cedric.s3, Arios, bobstro, cwbullet,

Here is a Troodon profile. Please see the instructions PDF file and the configuration *.ini file and the 4 png files.

here is the zip file:  PrusaSlicer Troodon Profile

It seems to be working very well. I'm quite pleased with it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I.

Cheers,

tj
