Prusa Slicer

Anyone know why Prusa Slicer is chopping off part of this stl? The stl of the mirror image is slicing as expected.

RE: Prusa Slicer

Is there a warning next to the parts name in the right hand panel?  It looks like a question mark in a triangle?  If so hover your mouse over it and it will tell you what's wrong, then right click on it and it will attempt to fix it using NetFabb.

If not then I'd suggest you attach the stl file (in a zip file) so people can look at it.

RE: Prusa Slicer

I've seen this with corrupt .stl files.

The utility mentioned above may fix it.  If not, Meshlab probably will, but if you have never used it, it can be overwhelming.

One trick I've used which has fixed a few errors of this type is to import it into FreeCad, convert it to shape in the Part workbench, refine the shape, convert to solid, and re-export it.  I've found that this will fix some (but not all) holes and things like phantom faces.
