positioning object above spring steel sheet
Is there with Pruse slicer a way to positoning a object some distance above the spring steel sheet?
(my objets go always in touch with the spring steel sheet)
I want to bridge this distance with support.
With suport everywhere I hope for a nicer printed bottom surface, on objects with no flat surfaces.

Look up RAFTS.
As for using supports to create a nicer bottom surface? lol. The only place I have seen rafting help, is a triceratops skull example print. And the texture of the surface is perfect for an old skull - like sand paper. If that's what you are going for, rafts should work for you.

this ist the object!

A raft created a less than desirable surface in my book. It is often rather rough.

What the OP is asking for is exactly what a raft is for. And yes, the results from Prusa Slicer are not what many of us would consider 'acceptable' ... I called it sand paper rough ... but, it performs the requested function of supporting an object off the build plate within Slicer. I've heard Cura does better at rafting.

I am not sure I would call Cura acceptable either. Maybe it is marginally better.

Supports are one of the few remaining areas where PrusaSlicer lags behind. IME:
- Cura's tree supports are much nicer to work with than "platform" supports when doing irregular shapes like miniatures.
- ideaMaker's platform-style supports are much cleaner when supporting large flat surfaces.
That said, it sounds like Team Prusa is working on supports soon, so I expect PrusaSlicer will move ahead in these areas in the not-too-distant future. I don't see anything about this particular print that would benefit hugely from using another slicer. I'd try rotating the tetrahedron 180 degrees to minimize the amount of support contact required:
I know Angus of the Maker's Muse YouTube channel prints a lot of these shapes. He's probably got some tips on printing for the cleanest result.

@bobstro
I hope you are right. I just tried idea maker and it is superior. I will try Cura again.
