Perimeters limited to 40mm/s?

Can someone help explain why I can't get perimeters faster than 40mm/s? I have the limits on the Mini+ profile faster than what is in Print Settings. I don't care about what should be reasonable settings, as I'm mainly using the ones here to try and figure out what is limiting the perimeter speeds. (First Later is 40mm/s here, but I tried it at 240 since it matched the limit, but with no change.)

What do you have set in Filament Settings->Advanced->Print speed override->Max volumetric speed? That setting (and its counterpart under Print Settings) will throttle speeds if your combination of extrusion width, layer height, and speeds exceed the specified volumetric rate. In reality, a Mk3 with a V6 hotend can handle about 11.5mm^3/s with PLA through a 0.4mm nozzle. I think the Mini is a bit lower. Above that rate and there's a good chance you'll get extruder skips and jams.

Your part looks large enough that min layer print times shouldn't be a problem, but look under Filament Settings->Cooling->Cooling thresholds->Slow down if layer print time is below. I've had that one bite me unexpectedly.

You might have to override some M20x firmware settings to get anything approaching those rates.

Save your current  3MF project file, zip it up, and attach it to a reply here so we can see your part & settings and give better recommendations.

Ah....

Thanks. Yeah, it was the auto-cooling time limit.
