NooB here: how to change colour filament and how to search this forum

As the title states, I look for a way to add a script to pause the printer to change the colour of the filament: in which version: simple, advanced /expert? and where exactly

I would have liked to be able to search this forum , to find the answer to my question, but can not find a way to do this, other than to read thru 51 pages

To insert a color change, just drag the layer slide in preview to the place you want to insert the color change. Click the plus symbol and a color change will be inserted. This can also be used to insert pause (inset magnet or similar) with right click instead of left click.

Can't help with search.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

Do you have an MMU?  Color changes can also be set using the MMU profiles, and selecting the appropriate extruder for the color you want.  Otherwise, a color change is done manually as Area51 mentioned.

Searching the forum is simple: once you find the search box (well hidden in my opinion).

If you can find the Looking Glass, next to your login name, click it.  A new barely visible box opens below the Header line, with a light gray "Search" -- click the "Search" text and you can enter your search criteria - press ENTER to start the search.  Once the initial search is done, you can make additional changes.

(@area51)Thanks, I'll give that a go.
