Is there any way to increase the max build height?... It is currently limited to 1200mm, but I need to reach 1500mm.
Not without modifying and building the software yourself. I think super slicer has a larger limit iirc. If you aren’t familiar with Super `slicer it’s a fork of PS so will be familiar to those who use PS.

In PrusaSlicer it does not seem to be possible to create custom profiles over the 1200mm range. I have not been able to do it.
S3D seems to have no problem with it:
i do not know the reason for this restriction.
You might send a message to @cwbullet (Chuck). I know he does a lot of large prints for rocketry.
He is intelligent, but not experienced. His pattern indicates two dimensional thinking. -- Spock in Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan...
It’s an arbitrary limit to do with number of digits/bit size I believe in the math used by PS. Basically to go above they would have to refactor a lot of the code to use a bigger bit range. I remember seeing an issue on either the Susie or Prusa GitHub from Merrill / Bubnik about it. Of course finding it now I need to reference it is proving difficult.
Thank you all for you quick responses and information --- This looks like a great community to be in.
The 1200mm limit will not stop me from testing further on my printer --- It will just be a little limited on height for now.
@neophyl -- Thanks for the info -- If this is locked up deep in the code finding changing and then recompiling something to work sound like a great learning experience.
@bobstro -- I will reach out to Chuck for his insight.
@karl-herbert -- I'm currently using s3d, but was starting to see some features in PS that is making me want to shift, always game to try something new.

Yes, I can understand that. Unfortunately, not much has happened in the development department regarding S3D in the last few years.
