Last Layer Quality Near Inset Text (PrusaSlicer 2.3.0)

Any suggestions on how to tweak the slicer to improve the print surface near the edges of the inset text?

Perhaps reduce your flow rate a little, or reslice and reduce your extrusion multiplier a little    maybe 3 to 5 %

And you can do ironing over the whole top surface to it flat.

Try different settings(ironing), every filament is different.

Thanks, Joan and Peter. I will try your suggestions. By the way, is there a way to disable Z probing in the slicer (retaining the last mesh data)? That can make troubleshooting faster and easier.

Hi Collin,
If you remove the Mesh bed levelling command from a second copy of your test file,
you can run the First copy, execute MBL (If you abort this print with the cancwl button, you will have to re run the file with the MBL, in order to re-establish your settings... )

Assuming the first test finishes normally,  when you want to do the next test, run the second copy and that should retain the MBL settings from the previous run.

I am lazy and just use the files with mesh bed levelling enabled. because there is a possibility that the thermal conditions in the room and printer may change, and if you omit the mesh bed levelling between runs, you may be working with sub optimal setup!

regards Joan
