Ideal hardware for PrusaSlicer

I have a very old MacBook Pro 13 and I will update soon to a new Laptop. I am slicing a lot of very big lithophanes (> 500 MB) so I am wondering what should I go for regarding the hardware ? Does PrusaSlicer work better with such big models when I have a high end graphic card like 2070 RTX or is PrusaSlicer nor really using the graphic card and should I go for better CPU/RAM/SSD ??

All CPU for the slicing process. Graphics are only used for rendering what you see on screen.

Make sure you have enough memory. More is better.

And sorry there is no excuse to buy the biggest graphic card for gaming .... I mean work. 🙂 Maybe once you start using Blender for CAD.

Are you switching from Mac to PC laptop?

yes I will switch to PC. Well than I will get an i7-9750H with a lot of RAM. Seems to be the best CPU in a Laptop 🙂
