You need to be in Intermediate or advanced mode in Prusa Slicer

then you should see the Rafts Option, in the support menu

@joantabb

Yes, I have been working in expert, I see you have "generate support material unchecked" is that the turn off raft setting? I have always had the raft layers at "0" but I am still receiving a raft layer........... thanks so much for your help..!!

One more tough/question........ when i turn in Support on build plate only:

I receive a popup message asking, supports work better if the following feature is enabled "Detect bridging perimeters" = I have been saying yes to turn it on (is this possibly part of my problem)?...  I am not sure what the function does.

If you are seeing a raft, you have supports enabled or rafts enabled (non-zero).  Without either of those settings, the slice will not have them.

If you continue to have issues, save the project as a .3MF, zip it, and post here using drag and drop.  That will give others a chance to see what you are seeing.

I tnk I have the same problem. I have a very thin model that can be printed without raft nor support (a "mask ear saver"). But today I wanted to stack some of them to make more prints at once. The stacking requires turn on support, but the support rafs generated is horribly wide, with lose of time and material. How can this be avoided?

Hello,

I have the same issue, with the 2.3.0 slicer version.

Even if the raft option is equal 0, there is still a raft made by the slicer.

RE: How to turn off rafts in PrusaSlicer 2.0.0 (Detect Bridging)

About detect bridging parameters.  As of the version 2.3.0 I do not enable detect bridging parameters.  This is meant to speed up the print and use less material by not supporting bridges.  There seems to be something wrong with what it decides is a bridge and can leave areas that need supports, unsupported.  If you enable it be sure to inspect the supports on your object.  Messed up a few prints with this feature enabled.
