Do you have to enable adaptive cubic infill somehow

I've tried adaptive cubic infill on boxes, cylinders , spheres, and random objects.  It does not vary near any wall at all, perfectly uniform.  I've tried PrusaSlicer 2.3 and 2.4 alpha.  It never works for me.  Is there another setting I need in addition to make it work?

Support cubic does work a little bit, in that it gets tighter near the top but still way too sparse to bridge.

I've played with both. The first key is that you want to set infill density to the maximum you want at the top or sides. The slicer takes care of incrementing from a calculated lower range.

The print also needs to be large enough to see much variation. Here's an Adaptive example.

Starting with the MAXIMUM infill is key. I usually see little effect if I use infill less than 15%. 40% usually looks good.

Confused the hell out of me, too.

Ah, that makes sense.  It is scaling down from what you set, not scaling up.  I should have thought of that.  That’s a better approach.  Thanks!
