disappearing models after slicing and Going back steps after slicing a model.

In need of advice regarding going back a step or two after slicing.

So if I slice a model and then realise I have got one of the parameters wrong.  Say wrong printer selected or no supports or wrong filament.

If I click the appropriate parameter and correct it the image disappears from the bed. But it’s still there just invisible because  If I just  reslice it it reappears with the new additional stuff in the image ( eg supports ). That’s fine in that situation

But if I am not ready to slice but want to manipulate the image eg rotate it or move it a bit I can’t because I can’t see it.

Is there anyway to get it back in view for further manipulation?

Also in the same principle,  if I slice it and the dreaded “Print area is outside the tool path” comes up, the image is locked and there’s is no menu on the left side that lets me select the rotation tools etc so I can rotate it.

So far the only way I have been able to correct the issue is to delete the project, reload the model back in and then rotate it and reslice. Then if it’s still outside the tool path have to go through the same process till I get it right. This is a real, pain with the mini because I am often printing models that are real close to the limits and have to manipulate them multiple times to get the position right for fitting into the print area

Is is there any way to undo the slice and still have the model on the printbed image.

I tried the undo option on the tool bar drop downs but that didn’t work.

Any ideas?

RE: disappearing models after slicing and Going back steps after slicing a model.

The player has 2 views, the model placement view and the sliced preview.  When you slice Prusa slicer automatically changes to the preview.  When you change any settings that would invalidate the slice the preview is cleared.  That is why it disappears as you are still on the preview part of the plater.

If you look towards the bottom left of the screen below the object manipulation controls you should see 2 icons, these allow you to swap between the model placement and preview.
