CW1 turntable for 3D-scanning
Anyone skilled in the art of tinkering up for making a 3D-scanner utilizing the CW1 turntable?

I see no need for this. If you really get into the rare situation of having to make a scan, you can also use photogrammetry. All you need is a camera and a stool.

Tried it. Worked great. Took 64 pictures, imported into meshroom, cleaned up with meshmixer.

Nice MVP! I think that the usb or beeper could be used to automatically trigger the camera. The basket holders could also be used to attach some kind of a camera mount (which would enable different angles).
