SL1 compatibility with special resin

Hi,

im about to buy a SL1 and i want to mix my resin with a kind of stonepowder and other incredients for special effects on the prints.

Do you think this may be a problem for the FEP-sheet or the printer itself? Could anything go wrong?

I had an testjob by my friend on an anycubic photon and it was not so bad. So wenn a 400 printer can handle ist, a Prusa should just handle ist very easy.

Would love to hear your thoughts about this.

RE: SL1 compatibility with special resin

Wouldn't adding something that is basically hard particles negatively influence the surface finish of the print to the point that it doesn't make sense to use a resin printer for it? Also, how do you prevent layer thickness being varied in different locations of the same layer?

I could imagine you dipping the printer object in something before curing it, so that the still relatively sticky surface would be covered in glitter dust or something before putting it out in the sun or some other source of UV light. I've thought about doing that with some prints myself.
