Hi all,

the Prusa Black Tough Resin can't be listed in the righ menu to select correct printing material profile.

Example 1:

Preselecting the Black Tough Resin as only material to be shown in the drop-down menu....

...the popup menu for material profiles stays empty:

Example 2:

If preselecting more materials:

...materials are listed as expected in the drop-down menu but the Black Tough Resin is still missing 🤪

As the Black Resin is the only remaining bottle for me I would be happy for a solution to fulfill my printing deadlines 🤓

System is MacOS 10.15.5 and:

THX in advance,

Alex

For black, there are only profiles for 0.05mm and 0.1mm.

You should set up your own profile. Choose the profile for 0.05 (only visible with 0.05 print settings or the "show incompatible presets" option). Set Dependencies -> "Compatible print profiles condition" to "layer_height == 0.025" and the exposure times to about 55% of there initial value. Save it using a new name and your done.

Many thanks, just tried 0,025mm.

But meanwhile I found my own solution:

- took profile for Prusa GREY Tough Resin

- Changed values 8 sec. for the layer shutter time and 37 sec. for 1st layer

Result turned out pretty well, just the shutter time for 1st layer was too long, as it was hard to remove from platform.

By the way: threads are just M1,6 😎

So at the end of the day we have two nice solutions, thanks again  🙂
