CW1 Washing Bottom Stops Spinning

I have had this issue for awhile now.

When I start the wash cycle, the CW1 bottom on occasion will either start to spool up then freeze, or while its spinning, just suddenly freeze up.

I have had luck getting it going again by forcing it to spin clockwise a couple times, but honestly...I shouldn't have to do this.

Is there something wrong with my machine?

RE: CW1 Washing Bottom Stops Spinning

I just got a CW1 and had the same problem. There was also some grinding noise while washing. I figured it was normal. But I discovered that the bottom of the metal tank was just barely coming into contact with the rotating platform. I put a 1 or 2mm shim on top of the rubber strips on the arms to slightly raise the tank. I also sanded the bottom of the propellor smooth. It is vastly quieter now and I don’t have problems with the stalling rotation anymore.
