Plannig to buy a resin printer what to do?
I am planning on buying a resin printer but I couldn't decide what to do now there is new printers with mono screens with crisper(as they claim) results and longer lcd life time, should I buy one like epax x1-k, buy a sl1 or wait untill prusa announces mabe new upgraded sl1 with mono screen (sl2 mabe?). Waiting for your suggestions 🙂

I bought a Prusa SL1 a month or two ago, along with the washing machine. My reason for sticking with Prusa for resin (I had a MK2 FDM for years and then upgraded to a MK3) is for consistency of toolchain, i.e. PrusaSlicer conquers all. After a day or two of getting my head around how resin printing works I've not had any problems with the SL1. I initially though the washing machine was somewhat of an extravagance but it really does make the messy part easy so I'm glad I "splashed out" (by avoiding splashing out).

This was ultimately the deciding factor that got me to swallow the price as well. I downloaded CB that most other printers use and it is no where near as intuitive as PS (and it also seems like each printer maker has their own custom version of CB too).
Unfortunately my SL1 experience is not going well. After assembly the setup wizard is complaining about a UV issue that support has so far been unable to solve. With shipping since I didn't hear from them yesterday as promised it will now be next week at the earliest before I might be able to make my first print ☹
