Structural probleme different color not stick or bad.

Hi everyone,

i have a issu after a print of the snake in 3 colors. the differente color not stick itself and broke easily. See picture.

If your are any idea ? I grab it ! 😆

I'm having exactly the same issue with multiple different prints, I even tried the Gecko print from the website, here is a failed print but shows how easily it breaks, the finish model still broke when bending the build plate to remove the model. Currently the MMU doesn't function if parts become so weak. Can't the Slicer try overlap the bordering layers more?

Boundaries between colours are always weak.

You could try raisimg the print extrusion temperature

I usually try to have layers overlap joints. To stop weak joints.
But thats difficult with a ready made model

It seems like you are underextruding. Solving that would probably improve the overlap at least a little bit on its own.

I think the problem is also the Slicer making these weak joints by default as well, even if I try to make something go inside another object to make it strong it will just cut it off like this:

If you want this joint to have any strength at all, you need to design it so the two pieces interlock. It's definitely more work (you're going to have to spend some time in CAD redesigning the joint) but it's the only way.
