Color blending issue when changing from Black to white with MMU2s

Hello-

I have an MMU2s and I am using Overture PETG to print with. I recently printed this Tesla charger holder and colored in the logo. However, you'll noticed that on the layers where it was switch between the colors, the white is partially blended with the black. I attempted to increase the purge volumes to the example called out here but it didn't help. I am new to the MMU and am not sure what to look at next.

You probably need to use more purging between the color changes, going from black to white is going to need a lot of purging.
I suggest you make some simple test prints first to dial in the purge volumes.

Easiest is probably to just add two boxes in prusa slicer and assign different colors to them and then make some small test prints.

You can for example do something like:
right click on build plate in prusa slicer, add shape then box.
find your object in the tree on the right side, right click on it and add part, then box.
this should result in one object consisting of two boxes you can assign different colors to and then experiment with what works best before you print your real object.
you may want to scale it down a bit for quicker print.

@torbjorn-j3

Thank you for the excellent suggestions. I will scale down the print and mess with the purge settings more. The biggest thing for me was to know I was on the right track so thank you for confirming that. I'll report back with what I find.

Hope your having a great week!
