Save purge volume configuration in PrusaSlicer?

Am I missing something, or is there no way to save the configuration of purge volumes?  I have adjusted this several times, and attempted to save the various settings (printer settings, filament settings, etc), but they always reset back to defaults after loading new STL files.

It is WAY too easy to forget to load these values before a print.  I tend to leave the filaments in place for a while, so once set up, these values shouldn't need to change for quite some time.

Thanks!

Save your configuration as a project. Colours and purge volumes will be saved as well. You will need a dummy object to save, but after loading the project you can delete and replace that object.

This is the most annoying thing about Prusaslicer for me right now.  This should really be handled in the filament settings.

it's a gcode that define this. You should adapt this in the slicer.

on the prusaslicer it's in a parameter of filament setting/advanced/cleaning tower  (sorry for traduction, i got the soft in french). by default i got 15 mm³, reduce this

This is per filament type and you need to be in advanced mode to access this setting

@roald-d

I am not sure we are talking about the same thing.  I am referring to the custom purging values that you enter via the "Purging Volumes..." button on the right side of the interface (same line as the Infill % and Brim checkbox).  This allows you to configure (for example) a white filament to purge more material when it is loaded so the previous color doesn't bleed into the white you are laying down in the print.

If you want to customize the values of how much material to purge when unloading and loading the various filaments in your MMU print.  When you customize the values, they are not saved in the slicer - they are saved with a project.  So you have to save a dummy project/object to preserve the values and be able to load them later.
