Reprint the MMU Pulley Body?

I have a problem that inserting filaments into the Pulley Body is difficult.  As I insert the filament it nearly always gets caught on one of the layers inside the pulley body.

Image at left shows where the filament gets stuck. The inset/magnified image shows the detail of defects in the layers that cause the filament tip to hang.

I am tempted to try to reprint the pulley body with thinner layers, but if I do this, I'm basically tearing down the whole MMU and rebuilding it.  I'd prefer not to do all that work.

Note that this sticking point is after the tubes that guide the filament into the pulley body and before it hits the gears that load and move the filament.

Have others seen this?  Found a solution?  Or am I off to do a print/rebuild?

I think the easiest solution is to reprint the piece.  My hunch is that Prusa would send you another if you show that the original is defective, but printing one yourself will be faster, plus, you will be in charge of the QA.  😉

That's not a bug, it's a feature!

These little windows are there on purpose (see attached picture) and will be there if you reprint the body... You should see the PTFE tubes through that little gap if you inserted them all the way.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Well, you're right.  They're in the model, and I have a newly printed pulley body if anyone needs one!

Now I have to sort out how to get the PTFE tube inserted further into the body.  It's not as easy as just pushing it, but I'll figure it out.

Anyway, I'm serious, if someone has a need for a pulley body, I have a beautifully printed PET-G in not-quite-Prusa-orange (Hatchbox) that I'll happily send.
