Prusa i3 Mk3S +MM2S+ Flexion-Extruder
Hello everybody,
currently I'm trying to make this combination work, using this parts:

In order to avoid occuring problems with Prusas IR-sensor, I'm trying to skip the sensor/deactivate it. Instead of using the sensor I want to calibrate the filament length "manually" like it is solved on the MMU2 before.
My question:
Is it possible to run the MMU2S on the latest firmware with a deactivated IR-Sensor? Are there any possible changes I can make to make this thing run without using the IR-Sensor and it's chinmey solution (whis is prone to failure) ?
I'm thankful form any advice 🙂
