MMU single filament printing

Hello.

Recently I've bought filament, that is overall not bad, but the printer has troubles to pull it through the MMU2S and the buffer. So I decided to print as if I don't have MMU. But here is the deal: the printer has to use MMU in order to print even in 'Single' mode. So I had to lie to the printer: I had to stick alien key into the MMU to fool the FINDA sensor, and the "fat" filament is standing beside MMU unit ontop of the printer. So I thought maybe you can add a new mode of printing (firmware/slicer), when user can load filament directly to the hotend ignoring MMU?

I'm wandering what kind of filament this is. Usually if MMU2 has issues to feed it, the extruder is also struggling with it. (NinjaFlex 85A is the only one I could thing of).

BTW: Your solution looks robust 🙂

Extrusion is always suffering when there are problems with the MMU2 feed. But this time the problem was in the tubes or buffer - I've pulled manually to first test print.

This is luminescent Creozone PLA.It is coated in some kind of powder and I think this is the reason why there is so much friction in the tubes, and hens problems with feed.

Also, I will print this way with NinjaFlex, since I have a lot of doubts about the MMU2 ability to load it to nozzle. In any case it would've been very cool to have the option to print without MMU2 also in cases of difficult filament.
