FINDA Sensor State = "NA" when selector moves or filament is loaded/unloaded

Each time the selector is switching between filaments, the FINDA sensor value changes to "NA".  It changes back to "0" once it stops again.  I have tested it manually by pressing the buttons on the MMU2S to make it switch filaments and it has been creating problems in the middle multicolor prints.  It will happen during a filament change, but then it will just stay stuck in the "NA" state and I cannot finish the print.

I also get the 5 blinking red lights quite often.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?  I have tried 3 different FINDA sensors and the results are always the same.  I have the latest firmwares and I have run out of ideas on how to fix this.

Thank you.

I went back and forth with Prusa support for a couple of weeks and then they just stopped responding to me completely.

I ended up buying 2 FINDA sensors and a new MMU2S board since support chose not to provide support.  The problem still persisted.

SOLUTION: It was the firmware upgrade causing the issue the entire time.  I reverted back to 3.8.1 and it started behaving normally again.

It's really frustrating to spend dozens of hours troubleshooting and $100 USD because of bad firmware being released to us.

Hopefully this can help others that run into this problem.
