extruder filament sensor (bondtech gear lever) temperature problems
Hello,
I have a fairly airtight housing (gets to ~ 50°C) and the printer keeps activating the "empty spool" routine (please unload, unload ok?, load) when the housing gets too hot. This error repeats every few seconds until I open the enclosure and let it cool a bit. Worked fine with the old steel ball mechanism. I adjusted the lever in all directions (barely triggering, very sensitive and in between both) and varied the spring screw as well without any improvement, which is very puzzling for me.
Please node that I reduced by mmu2 upgrade to the extruder modification due to troubleshooting, so the mmu2 is disconnected in my setup.
Has anyone else encounterd this problem? Are there any user upgrades for the lever mechanism?
