losing at moment... I am unable to adjust the filament feed for the 5 filaments, either I am faulty, and can't manage the mmu buttons, or the sequence has changed

I do think its possible it changed abit. I have not updated to the latest mmu2 firmware. but make sure you use the correct button to choose number 4 (if it hasn't changed)

I don't think its changed.

https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/Service+menu+-+Individual+Filament+Calibration/842

it is an odd one to do with the barbaric interface. (UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, START) that will let you try 30 more times 😀

short version of how I remember it (I cant do it now im printing)

get into service mode (it does it's happy dance twice) when you have the 1 and 5 lights use left or right to move to number 4 light. hit the middle button. then move the left and right buttons to pick the filament you want to do. hit the middle button it should do a default length. then use the left and right arrows to get the length you want.

if the calibrations seems to change often (that's why they have you do it 3 times) check your filament path.

the nylon idler assembly I printed works. and it felt really cool. I still don't know why my last one broke. 100% didn't do anything wrong.

but I used glue..ii never use glue

Today is the 5th January, overnight I completed this print

20190105_082119[1].jpg

it's taken 4 days, because I couldn't get into the service menu to adjust the feed length for the five filaments

early issues failed due to filament grinding and aparrent low temperature,

the prusa sliced gcode seemed to have mixed 205C and 210C extrusion which with the filament grinding, didn't work well...

I upped the temperatures to 215C and improved things, but no success,,,

last night I looked at the issue through squinty eyes, and thought, if I can't shorten the filament feed, why not lengthen the bowden tube... and that's what I did... it's not ideal because the feed lengths differ between filaments... but the sheep survived!

waiting for a new control board to arrive, to address the service menu issue!

Hi Joan,
It looks like you have 1 layer skip on black, just below the sheep’s nose.
