Congrats!

It's good to see them FINALLY shipping out again.

Good lord that was a long gap, wasn't it?

Original ship-date was in December before christmas, (for september orders) if I recall correctly.

3 months late!

Congratulations, and for the record I hate you. (Nothing personal 🙂 ) Hopefully Prusa will start shipping out the MUU2 -> MUU2S upgrade kits soon.

Yes NullZero. Dec 2018 delivery but will take it in March with a smile if they worked the bugs out. I posted this Matthew to show the they are shipping. Hopefully it will give people Hope. I am sure they are ramping up as fast as they can and shipping quality products. Prusa products are always packed fantastic. It just makes you think they take care of the small details so they are probably looking at the bigger things too. Nothing worse than getting something badly packed. Makes you wonder what else is wrong.

Congrats! Can you post a picture of the filament detangler parts? The images in the posts that Prusa have made aren't all that clear as to how they're made. Are they all printed parts, or a combo of printed and either injection molded (like the spool holders) or acrylic sheet?

I think it's quite clear in the picture from the blog: https://www.prusaprinters.org/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-and-mmu2s-release-sl1-and-powder-coated-sheets-update/

6 cut sheets, printed parts and a few screws

The flat parts that make up the shelves is plastic sheeting that is die cut. The other parts are all printed. I took two pictures and I think it is clear in the pictures.

I ordered mine a week earlier than you. Got it 3 weeks ago, still haven't assembled it because I'm waiting for the mmu2S upgrade kit to arrive now.

So you ordered a week later and in effect got it earlier than me.

Life is funny that way. 😆 Doesn't the bible say something like "he is is first will be last and he who is last will be first"? Good luck I am sure yours will be coming soon. I had read somewhere that Prusa had sold over 10,000 MMU 2.0 and 2.0S so that is a lot of orders to fill and ship out.

I ordered Sept 3rd as well. Mine still says 'On Baxckorder'.

Proud owner of a Mk3 that is producing very nice prints. There is room for improvement as I learn more about it, but so far I am very happy.

Hi @richard.p16, could you please post the rough measurements of filament detangler when assembled?
I'm building an enclosure and would like to reserve appropriate space for it, while waiting for delivery.
Thank you

Inches: 10 7/8"W x 9 3/8"D (screws stick out 5/8 so real measurement is 10" even for depth. Shorts screws will make it shorter) x 1 3/4 H (Socket heads add 1/8 for height so you can lower it if you use button heads)

It's been a full 6 months now since ordering my MMU2 kit, 14th Sept. The Shipping Information page is a joke, assuming they work on a First Come, First Served basis. I do wonder if there is something else going on, and not just issues in making the buffer assembly.

As for the Powder coated PEI beds, I think I'm likely to see a full UK-EU post Brexit trade deal signed before I see a powder coated bed! 😀

the buffer assembly is probably one of the easiest things to make, minimal amount of printed parts and other hardware plus a few laser cut acrylic sheets

the whole delay was because of all the testing they did internally to improve the MMU2.0 they knew they need to do something so shipping out more of the old style MMU wouldn't have been good.
now they need to catch up on all the people who already have the old one and get an upgrade before mass shipping of the new MMU2.0s really gets going.
