Constant disconnects over USB
I have a 2 week old Prusa MK3S+ and I am using with a Raspberry Pi 3 running OctoPrint. This OctoPrint server has been running rather continuously since March 2020 on another printer with zero issues (same hardware). When I connect it to the MK3S it works for a time, then eventually loses the USB connection. I then lose that functionality for a time, as if I reconnect the USB it forces a reset on the MK3S. Any thoughts as to what the issue could be here? I'm not sure if there is some known aspect to the MK3S that I am missing as it relates to OctoPrint connections.

Thank you, that helps a lot. I searched for a while and did not find that thread.
I'll try both switching Pi's (I think I have a Pi 4 Model B sitting idle) and increasing those timeout settings.

A little early to declare victory, but after 1 hour the RPI4 is working MUCH MUCH better than the RPI3. I would have had 3-5 disconnects by this point. Same SD card.

Ok, its been printing like a champ for about 8 hours yesterday and a few hours this morning. Switching from the RPI 3B (not plus) to an RPI 4 seems to have solved the issue. Zero changes to any other hardware or settings, exact same SD Card. Exactly as described by "Brent_Dowell" in the first comment on the linked post above. Easiest fix of a tech issue in a while. 🙂
