I physically removed the MMU2S from my MKS3. I powered it back up, and it gave me an "autoload filament" option, which I did, and the filament extruded.
So I logged into OctoPrint, which I have been using since I got the printer, it connected, but now it won't let me select a file I've uploaded, and it won't give me a temperature graph. I have checked that all the USB cables are plugged in properly, and power-cycled the RasPi, but no luck. Removing the MMU2s involved removing four wires (I didn't remove them, a friend was helping since I have some serious mobility problems). Everything seems to be fine, but no printing is happening. It might be an OctoPrint problem. I am going to post there
Did you change your printer profile in Octopi, not sure of all the differences but theres number of extruders which would need setting to 1 rather than 5.
@lize
I have no idea how to do that.
@flounder
Octoprint changes:
Settings
Printer profile
Edit printer profile (Action)
Hotend & Extruder
Set the Extruder value to 1
Remove the data and the power cable from the MMU2:
(remove the violet marked plugs)
@karl-herbert
No, I meant I have no idea how to change the octopi settings
Apologies for causing confusion I should have said Octoprint.
