Relocating the PINDA probe

I am working on a nozzle wiper for my MK3s using a brass brush. It works but the PINDA probe gets brushed as well as the nozzle and I would like to avoid that by relocating the PINDA probe in the y+ direction.

Will relocating the Pinda probe cause any issues with auto bed leveling?

Hi ALan, you don't say how far you plan on moving the Pinda.
Any movement will start to affect the performance of Mesh bed levelling,
the further from the original location, the larger the potential error will be.
however more important is XYZ calibration, which hunts for sense pads in the bed, if you move the pinda, the interraction with the bed will be different.

could you modify the retractable purge mechanism, to brush your nozzle?

replacing the end piece with a brush.!

TY for the reply.

I was afraid the probe points were selected to target the magnets.

I have that retractable kit now, I finished most of the design already before I was made aware of that mod, I just wanted to complete it and release the design just as an alternative that requires less parts or only requires parts that most makers already have.

I guess I could just change it so instead of a metal brush it is cut pieces of silicon socks, so there is less issue with the PINDA probe going over it.

Again thanks for the reply.
