PrintTimeGenius running during print - is it ok?

I'm using PrintTimeGenius, but find it annoying that when I upload a sufficient large gcode file through Slicer or Cura, in which case it starting printing immediately, PTG doesn't have time to fully parse the file before print starts and doesn't do it's full estimate.  The work around is upload the file without starting print, wait for PTG to finish analysis, and then start print manually through Octoprint (for Cura, I don't think you even have the option to not start a print).

PTG does have an option to keep running during print, but warns that this could lead to print issues.  Has anyone tried this option?  Is it really problematic?  I have Octoprint running on Pi 3B.

Thanks.
