OctoPrint vs PrusaPrint

Hello,

I got myself a RPi and I want to install OctoPrint/PrusaPrint on it. PrusaPrint sounds nice because it's tailored to the printer. However, There doesn't seem to be much conversation online about PrusaPrint, so I want to make sure that the Prusa branch is still being maintained and not deprecated.

Is https://github.com/prusa3d/OctoPi/ the official branch for PusaPrint? Because the "latest" release is from 2017, whereas the main OctoPi repo has a release from February...

Is there a way to install OctoPrint and just import a Prusa config?

Thanks!

RE: OctoPrint vs PrusaPrint

It is ok to install PrusaPrint. Its copy of OctoPrint does check for updates and will bring itself up to same version as the normal OctoPrint.

It is convenient to have the printer and filament temperatures already defined. On the other hand, it really isn't much work to add a printer definition.

Sorry, I'm not yet familiar with octoprint, how does it update to the latest version of octoprint and still remain prusaprint? Is all the prusa stuff just config and plugins?
