Always beep when switch off the printer

Hi guys,

I assembled my printer several days ago. It works well except one problem:

Every time I switch the power off, I hear a beep from the printer. The next time I power it up and check the fail statics, the power failure counter will increment by one.

I tried power the printer off with printer fully cool down, it didn't work. The only way I can shut it down without a beep is to press the reset button then switch off the power immediately. I don't think this is a normal solution.

Did anyone experienced the same issue? I live in USA and the voltage here is 120V and I'm using the latest firmware for MK3S.

Thanks for any thoughts and help

This is weird. Power fail circuit is (originally) wired to AC in front of power switch. When AC power fails, both power fail circuit and main power supply lose incoming power. PF circuit signals EINSY before main power supply caps get depleted.

When we power off the PS via the switch, the PF circuit is in front of the switch and should not lose power. It should never signal the EINSY.

How does a firmware issue behave correctly one power supply design, but not the other? The only thing that SHOULD differ is the time before caps deplete, not the power fail signal. That is unless the power fail is now wired differently and no longer tied direct to inbound AC.
