Slic3r is Cutting my Prints in Half?

So I am encountering an odd problem with Slic3r bisecting my STL files when I slice them. The prints reflect them as well. Anybody else encounter this?

There's probably something Slic3r doesn't like about that STL file. You may want to try to repair the file with a mesh editor or similar tool.

If you are pretty sure the file is good and it's actually a Slic3r bug you should file an issue on the GitHub page and attach the STL file so the problem can be reproduced and fixed. https://github.com/prusa3d/Slic3r/issues

Ok, thanks. I'll try that. Any suggestions on which mesh editors to try?

I bet the STL is not quite correct, but on the other hand Slic3r should be improved to handle these not quite correct STLs better. We should create an issue in the github issue tracker and collect the STLs there.

Try Autodesk Meshmixer and see if that helps.
