Printer statistics, calibration needed?

Hello,

My MK2 stats are wrong, how do I adjust for total filament printed? The LCD displays says I printed 301 km of filament for 11 days of print time, but I really printed only 8 spools of material since I bought it?

Thanks,

Is it a firmware (Marlin) issue?

In all honesty, it is probably best to ignore the stats completely.

Peter,

That is also what I gather from my limited research: too bad, I kinda liked the idea, mainly for billing and maintenance purposes in a company/school setting (many printers/departments/users). I do not think that I can use Octoprint's jobs stats for this purpose, they also seem wrong, maybe they use the same data source, I don't know.

Thanks,

Yeah, mine shows 86 km when I have, maybe, used one third of my first spool which comes to what, 100 meters? Let's wait and see if firmware 3.0.10 fixes it.
