Mesh level executing twice when printing from SD card.

Hello,

I normally print with OctoPrint but I modified the gcode and added M600 command in a few places.

I then copied the modified gcode file to the SD card and started the print from the SD card.

The problem is that the Mesh level seems to execute two times. I checked the modified gcode file I only see the mesh level command once.

Question.
- Does the firmware automatically execute the mesh level routine when printing from the SD card and if so, should I exclude from the PE Slic3r in the printer settings custom gcode section?

Thanks,
David

Re: Mesh level executing twice when printing from SD card.

do you print from sd card directly (through the menu at the lcd display) ?
or do you still use octoprint to print but choose the file at the sd-card through your browser ?

dem inscheniör is' nix zu schwör...

I start the print using the LCD menu and pick the print from SD card option.

- I still have OctoPrint communicating as I can see the temp. graphs.

- On the next print from the SD card, I will shutdown OctoPrint, maybe it is interfering in some way.

Okay, so the problem went away. I did the following.

- Shutdown Octoprint
- Rebooted the MK2 ( I leave it on days at a time, it is plugged into a UPS) with the power switch.

So one of the following must be the issue:
- OctoPrint interfering when printing from the SD card
- Possibly a firmware issue
