Slic3r vs Simplify 3D setting for PETG

Hello everyone,
I am having issue with PETG setting for S3D. I love S3D of how you can add manual support of the model. However, my PETG always come out stringy with Simplify3D compare to Slic3r Prusa Edition. I am using original setting from PR with S3D, but it just did not come out right. I already adjust the retraction distance to 1.2mm @ 35mm/s in S3D. Any suggestion or tips on S3D setting? Thanks.

Maybe you can reduce the nozzle temperature. One option would be to print a heat tower (e.g. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:696093 ). Reduce the temp every 10mm by 10°C for example (let us know if you need help editing the GCode for this). Check the model after the print and select the temp with the best outcome.

Just to clarify a point here for you, the S3D runs differently than Slic3r, if you had everything setup correctly, then suggest that you go through the TS from their website.

Hope it helps.
