Best setting for gold Silk PLA

Was given Mika3D silk PLA.  Gold, silver, and bronze.  I am having difficulty with globbing and bed adhesion.  Using an i3 mk3s. I am trying to print some letters but it does not stick to the bed.  Hardened steel nozzle The extruder is set for 220 and the bed is set for 60.   I am a beginner when it comes to 3D printing.  Regular PLA is easy for me.  Past that, I am swinging and missing.  Thanks in advance.

PLA bed adhesion comes down to two things: 1) bed contamination and 2) bed cleanliness.

Layer one thickness helps: as long as it is less than one nozzle diameter.

Try cleaning the bed (alcohol doesn't count as a cleaner unless you were wearing gloves and used at least 250 ml to rinse).

Got the bed problem fixed.  Now the extruder is clicking loudly and filament is not moving.  Missing layers on prints.  Need help.

I printed this cat money box mainly with silk bronze PLA:

The only problem I had was with the additives, especially at the start of a print.  When the print was removed from the bed it left behind a film of PVA-like substance.  I presume this also coated the inside of the extruder.

I did a couple of cold-pulls and changed the nozzle and was then able to print the next part without issue.  I repeated the cold pulls after I had printed with the silk filament.

I appreciate the help.   But being a newbie I don't know what a cold pull is.   What is that?
