Tap 12v off of Einsy?

I've modified the Einsy case for a fan ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2718553 ) in preparation for when my Mk3 upgrade kit gets here.

Does anyone know if there's a good place to tap 12v off of the Einsy board? If not I may get a converter.

Thanks.

I do not think you will find 12 volts on a 24 volt supplied Einsy, only 5 volts (on-board regulator) and 24 volts (supplied from main supply).

The noctua fan on the print head is 12v.

The noctua fan on the print head is 12v.

That may be, but the Einsy schematic shows both fans run off the on-board 5 volt regulator. I think it is used/needed for the fan tach detection function.

Be careful, there are a lot of version of the Einsy schematics.

I found a 5V-version and a 24V-version, maybe PRUSA has it own version.

There is no 5 volt or 24 volt version. It is a ~9 volt to ~36 volt version board. The on-board 5 volts is what all the logic on the control board runs on and the main supply(9 volts -36 volts) is what is used to power all the external loads(heaters).
