Re: Selftest - X Axis Length

My printer had been working great and then I had issues with the prints not sticking to the bed and some layer shift issues. So I decided to go through the setup wizard again and got the X Axis Length error.

When my extruder head goes all the way to the left is where it seems to fail. If I manually move it that way it sort of moves all the way to the left and then when I let it go it rebounds to the right. From what looks like it's a belt issue with the gear. Has anyone else encountered and resolved this?

In Step 35 "Mounting the X-carriage-back"(5. E-axis assembly) I apparently tightend the 2 screw on the top to much, as soon as I losend them the Selftest - X Axis Length worked.

I love you ian! You solved my issue too!
For Mk3S is the chapter 5 E-axis assembly - Step 61 X-Carriage-back assembly.
In addition, I think I also understand why. The armor tightened too much the 2 rods.
So the carriage was unable to go back well from its run.

Thank You

Sorry, but this did not helped in my situation. Any suggestions??

The selftest just stops in the middle of the x-axis.

There is always hope!
