Re: New (Final?) Firmware released!

I made the mistake of starting an 11 hour print BEFORE upgrading and got my first layer shift. I will try again tonight with the new firmware.

I'd count on getting more layer shifts. New firmware doesn't help that thorn in our side one bit. Even with crash detection off.

I think he was asking for the actual belt status under support the support option. Prusa gives a number for the belt status. 240 +/- 40 is considered good.

How can I see the belt status?
If I look during current printing, there are X -1 and Y -1.

Bear MK3 with Bondtech extruder

From page 69 in the printing handbook...

Support -> Belt status

Did you build with your parts? If so I'd love to see pics and hear feedback.

Not if you actually look in the zip folder. There's a hex for mk3 and 2.5

That's all well and good, but there haven't been any commits to the MK3 branch since the last release. If there are changes in that included hex file then we don't even know what they are at this point. Personally I'll wait.

The English book that came with it was only 68 pages. I see the manual shows it, but what does the number mean?

I honestly have no idea and honestly believe the numbers are BS. My X axis belts have less tension than the Y axis belt yet the readout shows it has a higher tension...
