travel optimisation reduce wear and time
So i was thinking today about how PrusaSlicer process each item on the bed, i think what it is doing is looking at the object list in PrusaSlicer and then processing each one in turn.
However, when you click re-arrange, this list stays the same, thats fine, no issues with that, but the gcode generated runs in order from that list.
The impact of this is that the head can move a significant distance between models, which increases
- time to print due to travels
- wear on bearings
- wear on belts
could there be an option to re-organise the list so that the optimal head travel time is also factored in, over many full print beds this can add up to a significant amount of time and wear
Just a thought

another thought on this (sorry still thinking) instead of going back to the first object, do the next layer in reverse.... (similar to the way the MMU works)
