Re: Mk2 cable chains

Will Rambo case for X & Y works great if I have a) Igus bearings with casing which rise heated bed for a few milimeters and b) printer box only 55 cm long?

And what about box without PT100? And last one - no udestarstand new X cable mounting part 🙁

Re: Mk2 cable chains

Can someone please post a pic of the cable chain attached to their bed?

I'm just reading this article, so I'm trying to catch up and figure out what the latest parts are.

Additionally, is there a reason why you guys did not find it necessary to create a chain between the Rambo and the x axis motor?

Thanks for all your help!!

Dana

Re: Mk2 cable chains

It seems the design for the X Carriage has changed in regards to the cable chain attachment (MK2s). Only problem is, I can't figure out how it attaches. Anyone provide some insight? Thanks.

I belive the X Carriage design I referenced in the previous post is yours. Can you provide some input on how it connects? Thank you.

I don't see a lower bearing cover in that picture. That's the missing piece to connect the arm and also secure the lower bearing. There are no zip ties used in this design.

Re: Mk2 cable chains

just did the adaptation for the MK3, very quick and dirty, but it works:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2731943

The rest of the parts are the same as for the MK2
